By visiting the website of Cypress Fence and Deck at cypressfenceanddeck.com, submitting an estimate request, or engaging our services in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, prospective customers, and customers.
Cypress Fence and Deck provides deck building, fence installation, pergola installation, patio cover construction, and related outdoor living services to residential customers in Cypress, CA and surrounding communities. Our services include, but are not limited to, custom deck design and build, composite deck installation, wood deck construction, deck repair and replacement, vinyl and wood fence installation, screened porches, covered patios, and deck railing installation.
All services are provided by or under the supervision of licensed and insured contractors. We reserve the right to decline any project at our sole discretion.
Estimates provided through our website, by phone, or in person are free and non-binding. A written estimate reflects the scope of work, materials, and pricing as understood at the time of the estimate. Final pricing is confirmed in a written contract signed by both parties before any work begins.
Estimates may be subject to adjustment if conditions discovered during or after site assessment differ materially from those described at the time of the initial request. We will notify you of any proposed changes before proceeding.
Prices are quoted in US dollars. We do not guarantee that pricing will remain the same if a project is delayed significantly from the original estimated start date, particularly if material costs change in the interim.
Project scheduling is confirmed in writing at contract signing. We make reasonable efforts to meet the agreed start and completion dates. Delays caused by permit processing times, HOA review, weather, material availability, or conditions outside our control are not a breach of contract.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations after a signed contract may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover materials already ordered, permits already filed, and administrative costs incurred. The specific terms for cancellation will be outlined in your project contract.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate work if the project site becomes unsafe or if payment obligations are not met per the agreed schedule.
Payment terms are specified in each project contract. Standard terms require a deposit at contract signing, with remaining balance due upon project completion or in stages tied to project milestones, as agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods will be outlined in your contract. Late payments may be subject to a late fee as specified in the contract.
All amounts due are payable in US dollars. We reserve the right to suspend work on a project where payments are not made in accordance with the agreed schedule.
For projects requiring a building permit, Cypress Fence and Deck will apply for the required permit as part of our services. Permit fees are typically included in the project estimate and will be specified in your contract.
Homeowners are responsible for disclosing any HOA requirements, deed restrictions, or other private covenants that may apply to their property. We will assist in preparing materials for HOA review where applicable, but we are not responsible for HOA decisions or delays caused by HOA review processes. Work will not begin until all required governmental permits are obtained.
Our workmanship warranty covers defects in our labor and construction for one year from the date of project completion, unless otherwise specified in your project contract. This warranty does not cover normal wear, damage caused by misuse, acts of nature, or conditions outside our control.
Materials we install may carry separate manufacturer warranties. Those warranties are between you and the manufacturer. We will provide documentation for any applicable manufacturer warranties at project completion.
To make a warranty claim, contact us at estimates@cypressfenceanddeck.com or (657) 337-7090 with a description of the issue. We will respond within a reasonable time to assess and, if covered, address the defect.
